Posted by Arun Kumar Choppara On 16:34 | 3 comments
The posts with the comment count bubbles make the blog look beautiful and user friendly. Also the comment count makes the visitors stay long on the blog as the posts look interesting. Also the comment count bubble will straight away provide the popularity of blogger posts which will help visitors to identify the popular posts on the blog. The visitors can look for most popular posts on the blog based upon the comment count.

The blogs that are user friendly with attractive features will always be a step ahead in attracting visitors to the blog though the same kind of information could be available at different sources on the internet. So adding more and more cool features to the blog always helps the blog in getting more traffic.

Let us see the process of adding Comment count bubble to blogger posts.

1. Go to Dashboard -> Template -> Edit HTML

2. Find for the below code from the blogger template HTML code
</b:skin>

3. Add the below mentioned code just before </b:skin>

NOTE: We can change the bubble image by changing the "background : url(image link location)" in the above code.

4. Find any one of the below codes in template HTML code.

<b:if cond='data:post.title'>

OR

<b:if cond='data:post.title'>

5. Just after the code that we found in the above step, paste the below code.

NOTE: We can change the colour and size of the bubble image by changing the values mentioned above.
- #ffffff is the comment count font colour
- 18px is the comment count font size
- line-height: 48px - 48 should be the height of the bubble image used in class = comment-bubble (such that the comment count value will be at the center of the bubble image).

6. Save the template and view blog to see the changes.

Now the blog should have updated and a comment count bubble should be displayed against each blogger post.
